Keane currently seeks a Scrum Master to join our team in Covington, KY.

Principle duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership of Agile Scrum teams and processes.
  • Mentor team members on Agile methods and best practices.
  • Works with scrum teams to ensure the principles of the Scrum methodology are protected.
  • Conduct Agile planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Report on velocity, risks, road blocks, sprint burn-down and project release .
  • Work with Agile Scrum teams to help resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase productivity and to foster innovation
  • Maintain product knowledge to increase efficiency in delivery of all product deliverables.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
  • Keep project team well informed of changes within the organization
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to team members and stakeholders.
  • Use some independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Required skills and experience:

  • 5+ years Project Management – SDLC – Agile
  • Candidate must be results driven and have the ability to align a team to achieve goals.
  • Skilled in leading meetings, setting agendas, driving decisions, and negotiating win/win solutions.
  • Leading technical teams-coaching, training and guiding Agile teams.
  • Proven track record of building motivated, collaborative, and productive development teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Solid working knowledge of project management principles including proficient use of project management tools and software.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of software, hardware and networking information technologies
  • Project management and/or development experience in a software development environment.
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master and/or Certified Scrum Professional
  • Direct experience and expertise in Financial Services products and services.
  • PMP Certification

Partner Technology has been retained on an exclusive basis to recruit for several Agile Project Managers.

Agile Project Manager Job Description:

Will lead software application development projects for this medium sized corporation founded and headquartered in Cincinnati. The application development team uses Agile/Scrum Methodology for their development efforts and the software environment is .Net, SQL Server and third party package for the core application engine.

Will create project plans and drive project. Will be responsible for application development project deliverable. Will interface with business, application developers and IT Technical staff to ensure project timelines are being hit. Will need to coordinate and drive projects to be on time, within budget and meeting deliverables.

Agile Project Manager Required Skills:

• Must have 3-5 years of IT Project Management experience and over 7 years of overall IT experience
• Must have several years of leading application development efforts. Strongly prefer custom application development efforts
• Must have experience leading an application development effort that was led using Agile or Scrum Methodology.
• Must be a ‘driver’ and not a project administrator. Want someone who will proactively drive project and hold multiple parties accountable for hitting their deliverables and keeping the project on the critical path
• Must have excellent communication skills. Will interact with business users and managers, developers, IT Technical staff and IT Managers.

Agile Project Manager Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading web based .Net application development projects
• Scrum or Agile Certifications such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master)
• Project Management Methodology (PMP)
